I build and maintain ScamKit by myself. Every core tool is free: no ads, no data selling, no sponsored content. Pro keeps the site running, pays for the APIs behind the scanners, and lets me keep building. If ScamKit has helped you or someone you know, going Pro is the best way to keep it going.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Pro work?

Subscribe with a card through Stripe and Pro unlocks automatically on your ScamKit account, no codes to enter. It works on every device you sign in on.

How does the family plan work?

From your account page, add up to 3 family members by email. They sign in (or create a free account) with that email and Pro unlocks on their own account automatically, no shared passwords, and nobody can see anyone else's scans. Remove a member anytime to free the seat.

Do I need an account?

Yes. Pro is tied to your free ScamKit account so it follows you across devices. If you're not signed in, the Subscribe button takes you to sign in first.

Are the core tools still free?

Always. Check a Link, Check a Message, Check a Phone Number, the Email Header Analyzer, and the Scam Simulator are 100% free. Pro adds unlimited scans plus the power-user tools.

Can I cancel?

Anytime, in one click from your account (Manage subscription). You keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for.

How does the password vault work?

Generate a password on the password tool, give it a name like “Chase bank login”, and save it to your account. You'll find it again from any device you sign in on. You pick a vault passphrase, and your browser uses it to encrypt every entry before it's sent — the name, the username, and the password itself. What we store is scrambled text we can't read.

That cuts both ways, so it's worth knowing up front: nobody can recover a forgotten vault passphrase, including us. There's no reset link. If you lose it, the only way forward is erasing the vault and starting over. Choose something you'll remember.

And if you ever cancel: your saved passwords stay readable. You keep opening, copying, and deleting them from your account page for as long as you have one. Cancelling only stops you adding or changing entries until you resubscribe — we won't hold credentials you already saved behind a paywall.
